you may not like it, doesn't mean that person doesn't like them and only got them for e-peen.i for one have black dyed elite judge and guess what, i actually like that, i dont have chaos gloves but if i can afford them id prbably get one in either red or blue because it would, in my opinion, look good on that armor.i do agree a fair number of people buy them for the e-peen doesn't mean everyone does though.

imo chaos gloves would be alot cooler if it didnt end short of ur elbow. as is, i think the gloves are highly overrated.

I think Chaos Gloves look good when you have a certain type of armor piece.

Here's an idea, make a new set of gloves that are twice the price of chaos gauntlets, that way, everyone will want to have them as the new status symbol. But here's the kicker, give them the same skin as your prof's starter set.

Both sides win, because we don't have to be blinded by obnoxious crap everytime we zone into a major city, and because they got to drop obscene amounts of ectos on something completely unworth their time and effort.

No. I like FoW and people may show it off. I find the chaos gloves ugly and not because they'd would be showing off, but plain and simple because it's ugly.

Ever seen a typical rich wammo? FoW armor dyed black with Blue/yellow/white chaos gloves i mean honestly the look is everywhere and you look like a spiky turd.

blame the peeps in Aschlon every time i walk in there with my glowey gloves i always get "wow cool gloves" im into draggie gloves now anyhow x)

To be honest, if I could afford Chaos Gloves, I'd buy them.

But there are more beneficial things to get with money first, such as titles and stuff that can do something in my HoM.

As far as them being overrated, that seems like a matter of perception. I'd say some people buy the gloves because they look cool, but there are some who buy the gloves either because they think people who where them are cool or that other people say that the gloves are cool.

Well i'm not exactly one to bash people for buying expensive useless stuff, that's purely cosmetic, but i can tell you i have never wasted my cash on chaos gloves, or obsidian armour. I've bought a good friend of mine peices to his obsidian armour, only because he was obsessed with it, but i would never wear it myself. I like to sport my vibrant pink asuran monk armour, and back in the day, my 15k (blue+green) luxon monk armour
